Remember that transformers work according to watts. Generally strip lights need at least 12W, so make sure you choose a transformer that supports this power.
There are transformers that have a “switching” option, which allows them to withstand voltage changes.
Make several tests before installation
Many people install strip lights without making sure that they all light up correctly. After you have installed them, it will be much more complicated to make all the tests and connections.
For this reason, it is important that before you start attaching them to a surface, you make sure that the connections are good, that the system is well connected and that there will not be an electrical hazard that could damage the strip and the whole system.
